Hobbies/Interests: I enjoy playing and watching sports. I am an avid viewer of movies.

What were you doing prior to entering the seminary? I originally entered the seminary for the Diocese of Camden out of high school in 2003. While studying, I decided to step away from studying to earn an income. During those years, I worked for Commerce Bank and TD Bank, before and after the change in owner/name. I also worked for about two years for a light agency in Pennsylvania called Lighting Solutions, Inc.

What influenced your decision to enter the seminary? My decision to enter the seminary began with the faithful witness of the priests assigned to Saint Agnes Parish, now the newly merged name of Our Lady of Hope Parish. I served as altar server for 5 years, during which time I was privileged to interact with the priests through service and conversation. This interaction strengthened and influenced my decision to enter the seminary. Through prayer to the Lord, praying the rosary, conversations with the seminarians studying for the Diocese of Camden, I felt God calling me to this life of service to His people.

Advice to other young men considering the priesthood: A vocation to the priesthood is a pearl of great price. It is something very special, which should be nurtured and discerned through prayer with God. My hope for young men considering this vocation, is to have an open heart to understand God’s call to the priesthood in your life. If you hear or feel Him calling you to a vocation to the priesthood, pray to God to know His call more clearly. Pray also to the Blessed Mother and the saints for their assistance to help you discern God’s call. Seek the advise of priests and religious in your parish or in the diocese. They have discerned God’s call and will have helpful words of wisdom. Finally, do not be afraid to answer God’s calling to the priesthood. It is an amazing life, that will bring much happiness and joy to your life.
