What were you doing prior to entering the seminary? I was a student at Wildwood Catholic High School.
What influenced your decision to enter the seminary? After several years of discernment, I decided surrender to God and be completely open to His will for me.
Short explanation of life in the seminary: Seminary is a place to grow spiritually and discern God’s will for you. The best part is that you are not alone. When you enter the seminary, all the other seminarians from other diocese become your brothers and you all do your best to help each other grow in holiness.
Advice to other young men considering the priesthood: My advice would be to pray in silence. Spend a few minutes a day in silence and try to hear God’s voice in prayer. If you have faith, eventually the Spirit will move you and will give you the strength to make the next decision in your life.
