In keeping with current conventional wisdom to limit large gatherings during this stage of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Diocese of Camden has made the decision to cancel this year’s iRace4Vocations, scheduled for Sunday, March 29.

Historically, this great event dedicated to encouraging vocations to the priesthood has been attended by up to 1,000 people. While we are greatly saddened to cancel it, we do so out of a preponderance of caution during this time.

We ask that in lieu of your attendance at this event, you offer your prayers that God will continue to bless our diocese and the Catholic Church with good men who make the decision to discern a path to the priesthood.

Additionally, at this time of unease and illness, we ask you to pray for those suffering from COVID-19 and those living in fear of it, that we may be brought peace and good health.

Thank you for your support of iRace4Vocations. We look forward to bringing back the event next year on our 10th anniversary!

Sincerely in Christ,
Bishop Dennis Sullivan, D.D.
Diocese of Camden
